Getting married in a palace

02 — September — 2013

Here you have a new venue to hold a wedding The National Palace of Montjuic.

You are taken back to other eras as though time itself had stood still since the beginning of the century. The palace was built for the International Exhibition of Barcelona in 1929 and subsequently was destined to house the National Museum of Catalonian Art.

The aperitif was served on the terrace opposite the magical lit fountains of Montjuic moving gracefully in time to the music. Later the dinner moved into the hall where a grand imperial table was laid out. The happy couple, in line with the customs of their country of origin, sat at a table apart form the rest of the party presiding over the room.

Take a look at the architectural details and murals on the ceiling fit for a museum.

Beautiful.
